Sintering

Prototypes made with this technology are suitable for functional tests due to their high strength and construction speed. Sintering of powders is also one of the most economical technologies because, like all 3D printing technologies, it does not require equipment costs.

How it works: Sintering technology, SLS (Selective Laser Sintering), allows the construction of objects and models through laser sintering of different nature powders, layer by layer. The process requires the system to spread a very thin layer of powder one by one on the work platform; a laser beam selectively affects the areas corresponding to the model contained in the 3D file in input to the printer.
